User Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and PythonSoftwares ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), governing your access to and use of the EncryptPro software ("Software") and our website [www.encryptpro.net] ("Website"), including any downloads, purchases, support, video guides, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). The Software provides data security features allowing users to encrypt and decrypt their files easily. By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Services.

Eligibility and Account Registration

To use the Services, you must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. Minors under 18 are not eligible, as the Services involve data security and contractual obligations that may not be enforceable with minors. There are no geographic restrictions on use, provided it complies with applicable laws.

The Services are intended solely for individuals or entities seeking to secure their own data. Competitors or companies in the data security industry are prohibited from using the Services for analysis, reverse engineering, or any purpose that could compromise our intellectual property or facilitate the development of similar products. We reserve the right to terminate access if we suspect such prohibited use.

Users must create an account to access subscription-based features. You are responsible for providing accurate information during sign-up, maintaining the security of your account credentials (including passwords), and all activities under your account. Accounts are subscription-based and will expire automatically upon the end of the subscription period unless renewed. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms, non-payment, or inactivity. Upon expiration or termination, you may request support to manage or delete your account data.

License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms and payment of applicable fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable subscription-based license to download, install, and use the Software on up to two (2) devices for your personal or internal business purposes to encrypt and decrypt files. You may request an upgrade through support to increase the number of devices by purchasing an enhanced package.

The license is valid only during the active subscription term and automatically renews unless canceled. Post-expiration, the license to encrypt new data is revoked, but you retain access to decrypt and view your existing encrypted data.

Free Tier and Trial Accounts

We may offer free or trial versions of the Software with limited features or time periods ("Free Tier"). Free Tier access is provided at our sole discretion and may be subject to additional restrictions.

Free Tier users agree that:

  • Free Tier access is a privilege, not a right, and may be modified, suspended, or terminated at any time without notice or liability.
  • We reserve the right to immediately disable Free Tier accounts if we detect abuse, including but not limited to: creating multiple accounts to circumvent limitations, using automated tools to generate keys, sharing accounts, or any attempts to exploit or manipulate the system.
  • Free Tier users must comply with all Terms. Violations, abusive behavior toward our team, or misuse of support resources may result in immediate account termination.
  • We may limit the number of Free Tier accounts, implement waiting periods, or require verification to prevent abuse.
  • Free Tier licenses do not include guaranteed support response times, though we strive to assist all users.

Conversion to Paid:

  • Free Tier users may upgrade to a paid subscription at any time. Upon upgrade, the paid subscription terms will apply.
  • No Refunds for Free Tier: Since Free Tier access is provided at no cost, no refunds or compensation are available if access is suspended or terminated.

Restrictions on Use

You agree not to:

  • Copy, modify, adapt, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or create derivative works based on the Software or Services.
  • Share, distribute, rent, lease, sublicense, or transfer the Software or your access to any third party.
  • Use the Software to develop, test, or analyze similar products, or disclose any information about its functionality, algorithms, or workings to competitors or third parties that could enable replication.
  • Disclose, publish, or share any non-public information about the Software or Services, including private videos, internal documentation, proprietary details, or internal workings or features that we have not publicly disclosed. You may only promote or discuss the Software using information we have publicly shared.
  • Bypass, disable, or interfere with any security features or restrictions in the Software.
  • Use the Services for any illegal, harmful, or unauthorized purpose, including violating export controls or data protection laws.
  • Share your encrypted files, master passwords, or Software-related data with unauthorized parties; you are solely responsible for safeguarding your passwords and files to prevent breaches.

Violation of these restrictions may result in immediate termination of your access and legal action to protect our intellectual property.

User Data and Privacy

The Software performs all encryption and decryption processes on your device, and we do not collect, store, or process your files, encryption keys, or any other user data. You retain full control and responsibility over your data and encryption keys. Upon subscription cancellation, no user data is retained by us, as none is stored on our systems.

Payments and Subscriptions

Subscriptions are billed in advance via accepted payment methods, including Payoneer. Pricing and package details are available on the Website and subject to change with notice. All fees are non-refundable, except in cases where you provide proof to support that the Software is not functioning on your system as demonstrated in our video guides; refunds in such instances will be processed at our discretion after review.

We are not responsible for any taxes, duties, or fees related to your payments. Late payments may result in suspension of access until resolved.

Warranties and Disclaimers

We warrant that the Software will function substantially as described in our demo videos and has been tested on multiple systems for compatibility.

EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY PROVIDED HEREIN, THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE FROM VIRUSES OR HARMFUL COMPONENTS. WE DISCLAIM ANY LIABILITY FOR DATA LOSS, BREACHES DUE TO USER ERROR (E.G., MISHANDLING PASSWORDS OR SHARING FILES), OR COMPATIBILITY WITH SPECIFIC SYSTEMS BEYOND OUR TESTING.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICES IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless us, our affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from: (i) your misuse of the Services; (ii) your violation of these Terms or applicable laws; (iii) your User Data infringing third-party rights; or (iv) any third-party claims resulting from your actions or omissions.

Termination

We may terminate these Terms or your access to the Services (including Free Tier accounts) immediately if you:

  • Breach any provision of these Terms
  • Fail to pay fees (for paid subscriptions)
  • Abuse the Services, including creating multiple accounts to circumvent limitations
  • Engage in behavior that is abusive, threatening, or harassing toward our team or other users
  • Pose legal or security risks to our operations

You may terminate by canceling your subscription or ceasing use of Free Tier accounts.

Upon termination: (i) your license to use the Software for new encryptions is revoked; (ii) you retain access to decrypt and retrieve your existing encrypted data; (iii) we may delete any remaining account-related data after a reasonable period unless you request otherwise. Termination does not relieve you of obligations accrued prior to termination.

For Free Tier accounts: We reserve the right to terminate access immediately without notice if abuse is detected. No compensation or data retention obligations apply to terminated Free Tier accounts beyond allowing you to decrypt existing data.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

Company Registration: PythonSoftware LLC is registered in Pakistan

Governing Law:

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan
  • Disputes shall be subject to the courts of Islamabad, Pakistan, or resolved through international arbitration

Data Protection:

  • All personal data is processed and stored exclusively in Iceland under EEA data protection standards (GDPR-equivalent)
  • Data protection complaints may be directed to support@encryptpro.net
  • EU users: We are establishing EU representation as required under GDPR Article 27 and will update this section once appointed

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be notified to you via email. Your continued use of the Services after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Services.

Miscellaneous

  • Data Security Responsibility: You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your master passwords and encrypted files. We are not liable for any data breaches resulting from your negligence, such as sharing passwords or files with third parties.
  • Severability: If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
  • Entire Agreement: These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Services, superseding any prior agreements.
  • No Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision shall not constitute a waiver of future enforcement.
  • Force Majeure: We shall not be liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, wars, or pandemics.
